Bashadar (Ongudai province) is an archaeological site including 57 objects, among which the mounds of Pazyryk nobility are distinguished. A log sarcophagus with burials was placed inside a hewed log cabin in these mounds.

One of the discovered sarcophagus was covered with carved images of tigers, sheep, elk, and etc… From inventory there were found remnants of clothing and footwear, ceramics, horse harnesses, items of weaponry and houseware. In one of the barrows of Bashadar a small piece of carpet was found, dating back to the 5 th century BCE. Asymmetrical knot was used when making it, and the density of the carpet reached 4900 knots per square decimeter.
